I chose to incorporate a light blue wave since it flows well with the navy blue and the light blue. Also th wave reminds me of water.

Final Business Card

I decided to go with the third business card, especially since it was the class majority. I changed the font of the information on the back of the business card to match the font of the front of the business card to make it flow better. Also, I minimized the spacing between the words so it didn't look to close to the edges. The final two change that I made to the business card from the draft is I changed the color of the font from black to navy blue to incorporate a togetherness effect; and I moved the information from the center to align right also to show togetherness and make it look more cleaner. I tried to get rid of the small white lines around the border, but everything I did nothing seemed to work; you were supposed to help me get rid of them, but we both forgot.  Overall, the colors to me compliment each other well and flow together; also it gives a water feel which is what I was going for since my company is a water company.

Business Card Drafts

 1) I chose to minimize the the logo in the corner of the front page and put all of the contact information at the bottom in black so it can stand out.  I went with the main color of the blue on the back with nothing else so the person could focus on the front.
2) I used the logo for the whole front page to draw people in and used the navy bue for the back of the card with white lettering to stand out. The use of two different colors were used to draw more people in.
3) I added a navy blue border on the top and the bottom on the front and back just to add a little pop to the business card.
4) The front of four is my favorite because I like how the white font stands out against the navy blue  background. But, i wish there was something I could add to the back of the business card.
5) For the final business card I used the same front as #2 but on the back I kept it the same color as the front and have black font. I think this is easy on the eyes because there is not a lot of color change.

Lyrical Collage

I chose a part from the song "Cooler Than Me" by Mike Posner. I used a total of six images for this collage. I strategically placed the nerds in the back to give it the effect that the "cool girls" were walking away. I chose to have the wording in black because it showed up the most. Also, I tried to make a copy of the floor using the eye drop tool to cover up a logo and I used the magic eraser tool to get rid of the background of the images.

Complex Illustration

The word I chose for this project is happiness. I chose that word because this picture was taken in France and that experience was one of the happiest experiences I could ever imagine! This project was difficult, but it is helping me get the hang of using the pen tool.
